It’s safe to say that not everyone will feel enthused when facing a full day of conferences, meetings and talks. Even fewer will actively look forward to an event like this with their colleagues, being stuck in a room together, half-listening in a low-lit, uninspiring, windowless room.
We think that Camp Glenorchy is the solution to all these problems. We provide groups motivating eco-friendly venues and facilities to encourage everyone to start their day ready and energised and finish their day feeling accomplished, proactive and happy.
The peace and quiet of Glenorchy village is a unique destination surrounded by incredible mountains, lakes and the headwaters of Lake Wakaptipu. Just 40 minutes from Queenstown, we are close enough to enjoy all the thrill and activities it has to offer while also providing a stunningly tranquil location to help you either unwind or fully focus.
Offering luxury accommodation and a broad range of facilities in a pristine environment, Camp Glenorchy is a no-brainer when choosing your next conference, corporate or group event.

Camp Glenorchy has three core areas available for corporate events including a large function room, two break-out rooms, and a campfire shelter enabling your team to enjoy the outdoors. Our meeting rooms contain state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, whiteboards and projector screens alongside WIFI and seating arrangements to suit your needs. No matter the nature of your event, the high ceilings, natural light and incredible views of the Humboldt mountains from the big windows in each room is always guaranteed to inspire your team.
Catering a big event can be hard-work, especially when considering diverse palates of tastes, needs and diets. Camp Glenorchy’s in-house chefs can take the headache out of deciding what everyone is going to eat after a long day of conferences. Mouth-watering fully catered meals can be served at the table or buffet-style, or you can choose the laid-back option of getting the team together around the fire to self-cook using pre-prepared local ingredients. A BBQ dinner consisting of beautifully cut meat, sausages and salads is available to cook together – promoting team-work and social conversation before those official conferences have even begun.
Camp Glenorchy has plenty of space to hold your team building event but what makes us special is our proximity to so many “wow” activities just outside our door. The pristine and unspoilt local area known as “Paradise” is home to thrilling group activities such as canyoning, kayaking and zip-lining, where your team will be forced to laugh, encourage and put their trust in each other. Not looking for an adrenaline rush? Glenorchy provides unlimited fresh mountain air for those looking for a more laid-back atmosphere to get together. We also offer morning yoga classes during the week, giving you the option to start your day in the right headspace, ready to take on the world!
Camp Glenorchy is the perfect fit for any company or group who share our ethos towards sustainability. By visiting us you will be making sustainable choices that help support the local community and the planet, leaving your team united in achieving both your business goals and saving the world.
Our family of six came in our caravan for two nights and had an amazing stay. Well worth the price. The kids loved the movie night and marshmallow pit, even the showers! The kitchen was well stocked and the dining room had a beautiful view to mount Alfred and Earnslaw
