Cleaning and Safety Precautions:
Our cabins and bunkrooms and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests and all bedding is changed
All linens are sanitized in a high-temperature wash
Our team is regularly sanitizing high-traffic areas using a hydrogen peroxide solution
We close our amenities building and kitchen for deep cleaning for an hour each day after guests have checked out
Hand sanitizer is available to guests and staff throughout Camp Glenorchy at all times
If any of our team members do become unwell they are required to stay at home and immediately call Healthline NZ to receive professional health advice
We do not accept bookings for self-isolation as we are not a managed isolation facility

Trans-Tasman Bubble: What happens if the travel restrictions change while I'm at Camp Glenorchy, I can't get home and need to extend my stay?
We will work with you and offer you flexible rates in case you can't go back home. We will deal with this on a case-by-case basis but promise to look after you.
What happens if I become sick during my stay at Camp Glenorchy?
If you become ill or feel unwell at any stage of your stay, you are required to notify a member of our staff, as soon as possible. You are also obliged to notify Healthline.
Evidently, you will no longer have access to any of our facilities or communal areas, as this could put other guests and our staff members at risk.
This may lead to you self-isolating with us, if you chose to do so please note, that you will be restricted to either your own self-contained campervan or private ensuite room only throughout the duration of your quarantine; all of which will incur an additional cost, to be covered by you.
The additional costs that will incur during this period are (including but not exclusive to):
• Appropriate isolated accommodation configuration
• Food costs
• Extra cleaning to disinfect the room(s) occupied
Can I self-isolate at Camp Glenorchy?
As our facilities are a shared communal space, we are unable to accept any guest bookings requesting to self-isolate with us.
Our primary concern is the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and team.
This may require us to refuse bookings at any stage.
Am I able to get a refund if I can't make it?
You will be subject to our Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations within 48 hours of your arrival date would forfeit your deposit. If you don’t show up for your reservation, you will forfeit the total cost of accommodation. Cancellations prior to 48 hours of your arrival date will be fully refunded.
Bookings cancelled or amended due to new Covid travel restrictions: We will work with you on a case-by-case basis while being reasonable and fair to deal with. In situations where you need to cancel your travel plans less that 48 hours prior to your arrival date due to Covid related travel restrictions imposed by the New Zealand government, we will give you a credit to reschedule your holiday or refund you in situations where alternative travel arrangements are difficult to make.
