One day helicopter and snowshoeing experience

This breathtaking experience is definitely one to tick off the bucket list! Start your day with an exhilarating helicopter ride from the Glenorchy Airstrip to the landing pad at 1880m high up on Mt Larkins. Your expert guide will make you feel comfortable in the mountain before taking you on a snowshoe circuit over the stunning terrain which showcases amazing views.

There will be time to refuel with a light lunch at Kelly's Hut, where you will have time to soak in the experience. Before the sun goes down the helicopter will arrive to pick you up for the equally exciting return flight to the valley floor.

The trip duration is approximately 4-5 hours, so there will be plenty of time for amazing pictures and even a few snowballs!

Our Reviews

Totally Amazing! We had the priveledge of staying in this incredible place after doing the Routeburn Track. It is the most unique, calm, relaxing place I have ever stayed in. Everything is not only eco-friendly, but beautifully decorated by local artists. Our room was outstanding, everything...
